How to take your measurements

  • The band size is a measurement of the rib cage. Place a tape measure around your body just under your bust
  • Ensure the tape is level from front to back, adjacent to the floor. Make sure you pull the tape fairly tight for this measurement as any bra with stretch with wear. Now use the table to work out your band size.
  • Next to find your cup size. Place the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, again level from back to front around the fullest part of your bosom. Don't pull the tape tight as before, this just needs to be comfortable.
  • Calculate the difference between your band size and your bust size, then work out your cup size.
  • Eg.band = 34 inches, bust = 38 inches, difference = 4 inches, size = 34DD.
  • Regardless of what the tape measure declares your under band to be, certain factors affect your size; the style of bra, the fabric, the shape of your bust and, of course, your own chosen preference.

Sister Sizing

Sister sizing allows you to find your perfect fit. For example, if you find a size 34C fits well in the cup but too big around the back, go down a back size and up a cup size. E.g a 34C; bra cup fits well but is too big in the back go for a 32D, if the back size is too small then choose a 36B.
