Libertine En Fleurs Mid-Length Negligee Gown

Libertine en Fleurs is the Lise Charmel summer collection — printed embroidery on pistachio tulle for the corsetry, and a floral viscose satin print for the nightwear. The palette is pink bougainvillea, mauve bellflower and green foliage, with frieze and stripe borders on the nightwear pieces. 

The negligee gown sits at the top of the collection's lingerie. Cut as a short kimono robe — falling just above the knee, with three-quarter kimono sleeves and a self-tie waist. The print runs all the way through, with the wider frieze borders falling at the cuffs and hem, and a finer stripe at the very edge. 

Viscose satin is the right fabric for this kind of print. It takes inkjet printing at high definition, holds colour cleanly, and drapes more fluidly than silk — softer to the touch, easier to care for, less precious about how it's worn.
