The skirts at Naughty Knickers are almost entirely the work of Maison Close — which is a recommendation in itself. The Paris house brings the same construction rigour to their skirts as to their lingerie, and it shows in the range and the finish.
The Le Vestiaire series represents the most considered end of the collection. The Satin Long Wrap Skirt at £350 and the Wool Pencil Skirt with Zips at £450 are pieces built to last and designed to wear in contexts well beyond the bedroom — tailored enough for dinner, particular enough to be noticed. The Stretch Jersey Midi Skirt with Hooks and the Stretch Jersey and Tulle Suspender Pencil Skirt sit in the same series with a lighter hand — the tulle suspender skirt in particular combining two functions with more elegance than either achieves separately.
